I am a font now

I made myself into a font because I didn't fancy writing a bunch of stuff.... which actually undermines the theme of the exhibition I am working towards but short of employing interns, this is the best option.... fingers crossed.

Performing Paper

I was invited by Paper Gallery director Nicola Smith to take part in an exhibition of work exploring the boundaries of art; challenging the concept of the art object. Using paper as a starting point, 17 artists produced a variety of works including performance, documentary, mapping and sculpture for the show.

I made 10 cardboard cut outs from pornographic magazines, men and women in various sexually provocative poses or activities and secreted them about the gallery and surrounding area.

Paper Gallery Recce

I went for a look round Paper Gallery, Manchester, the other day to see where I might secrete pornography in the upcoming Performing Paper exhibition. Hoping to put some outside and inside the gallery, nowhere too obvious.

The exhibition opens on the 20th June and will be open to the public on Saturdays thereafter until 3rd August

They had seen my Morphplinth work and the Fanny Magnets I've been making, so I am going to use it as a chance to explore some of the issues raised with those works.

NEWS
I have been selected by the judges of Morph Plinth to be keeper of the plinth, on the strength of my.... proposal...
"I think #MorphPlinth should meet me, serendipity and my huge stack of pornography."

When in London the other day, I met up with Mark Scott-Wood, the previous keeper of Morph Plinth and he gave me back a box of skulls and
